What's going on with the fuel?

I work in a filling station in East Anglia and we have been out of diesel since Saturday and we will be out of unleaded by this evening.

I know they had a fire at coryton, in essex ( where our fuel comes from) but it wasn't at the oil refinery. It was a neptha gas tower so why are our supplies disrupted?

  1. Apparently it is a refinery, that'll be why you've got no supplies coming.

  3. Hi Susie...

In the midlands for now we are ok..

as its about £1.01 for petrol and £1.05 for diesel locally, some probalbly cant afford to fill up, like me!.

if it starts to spread there will be panic everywhere!

  4. Whereabouts in East Anglia are you? I'm in South Cambs and haven't had any problems getting fuel - just feeling a bit annoyed about the prices!
