What's good about the foreign exchange program?

I'm going to be interviewed on Monday, and I kinda forgot why I wanted to participate in the program cuz I was so anxious to find out whether I got selected.

If it's through your university, you get to study abroad while paying the same tuition that you currently paying.

Hi ohmygosh.  I beliieve you are trying for Germany and Spain.  You spoke to me before about it.  It will be a great opportunity.  You'll be learning another language culture.  It may be difficult and strange at first, but once you get into a routine, you will love it.  Have he best time.  But before that, I wish you luck on your interview.

You will learn SO MUCH!!!  you will learn language, and culture.  you will make friends that, hopefully you will stay in contact with for the rest of your life.

If things go very well, the exchange will continue, until your family invites them to visit, and you have visits back and forth, and everyone becomes extended family.  I have a friend, who, in her fifties, went back to her family in Mexico (from High School) to participate in the wedding of her "sister's" daughter.  They had kept up the family relation that closely.

I had a friend in High School, who hosted a German "Sister".  Then she went to live with her in Germany.  Then their younger brothers traded off living together.  Eventually, the whole family went to visit each other.  All off one exchange setup.  You can quote having heard of these stories if you like.
