What's good food to eat for morning to evening?

  1. Eat breakfast!!!  Strive for high fiber foods which fill you up but digest slowly leaving you feeling fuller, longer.

    Breakfast:  Oatmeal or whole grain cereal, whole grain toast, or scramble up one egg and 2 egg whites, fresh fruit, yogurt

    Lunch:  big veggie salad with some tuna or diced up chicken, a few whole grain crackers with some cheese, a Popsicle

    evening:  lean proteins like chicken or fish, steamed veggies like broccoli and zucchini, fruit, don't be afraid to have a small baked potato, brown rice.

    Snacks:  Yogurt, sugar free jello or pudding, pretzels, cheese sticks, sliced cucumbers or carrots dipped in ff ranch dressing, low cal popcorn, a bowl of cereal

It's healthiest to eat 4-5 "mini" meals, rather than 3 larger meals per day.  You should have some protein at least 3x a day,and lots of fruits & veggies (at least 4-5 servings);  a little whole wheat bread or other fiber is necessary for your body to digest your food well ... and, you need some dairy for calcium.

    Breakfast:  piece of cheese, piece of fruit, glass of milk

    snack:  some nuts, piece of fruit

    Lunch:  whole-wheat bread sandwich (extra-lean meat), with lettuce & tomato;  piece of fruit

    snack:  yogurt;  celery & carrot sticks

    Dinner:  extra-lean meat;  salad;  veggies, milk

    snack:  piece of fruit or veggie sticks
