What's greater than adopting kids?

I'm in a competition against someone to see who can do the greater deed in life, they adopted 2 kids from Africa, now I have to do something greater than that

maybe if GUSTAV does what they think it will do you can go to New Orleans and volunteer to help! I know thats where i will be next week if anything bad happens. I am from there...and love the place with all of my heart!

that is sad that they adopted two kids just to make themselves look good. maybe your good deed would be to turn them into social services b/c they obviously don't care about the kids.

Why would you compete with someone over adoptions? this is a huge responsibility.  I think it is great these people did this as long as it was for the right reasons, otherwise they did not do the children any favors. Trying to "one up" someone else in life will not win you any favors.

how is that a good deed to adopt two children for the purpose of winning competition. doing things for the purpose of self gratification is not really a good deed. both of you lost already.
