  1. hand-washing.  i hand-wash my dishes right after use.  this eliminates the need for soaking (saves water and detergent).  and i air dry or towel dry (eliminating the need for energy from the dishwasher) my dishes.   i also use an eco-friendly detergent.  the dishwasher opens the door to gallons of water being wasted.  also, by hand-washing my dishes, i don't need to have as many dishes!  they're always clean and ready for use, so i don't need to own as many dishes.  which helps reduce production of new materials.   ;o)

  2. to do it by hand is saving on water and alot of power and you know for sure its clean.

  3. in my opinion......dishwasher because handwashing can take up a lot of water. especially if u leave the water running the whole time you are washing.

  4. Handwashing cause dishwasher needs lots of water and electrcity to wash. Its a little work but every dish you clean with handwashing you save a little water for the enviroment.

  5. handwashing

because when you use a dishwasher you are not only waisting water and heat, you are waisting electricity

  6. Handwashing with cold water, eco-friendly biodegradable dishwashing soap, using as little water as possible, with a low-flow faucet aerator, and then using the water to water your garden (greywater)
