What's happened to the real red-blooded true Aussie male in AFL?

Question

Aborigines make up approx. 2% of the Australian population yet there is eight of them in the so called Dream team (total 26).

In my mental calculations that works out to 32.5% of aboriginal players in the team. I hope they all click as some of the one selected are notorious for having the odd off day!

I agree here.

These players chosen are good footballers but they are not consistent. They play a wonderful game one week & hardly get a kick the next.

When I saw the team selected I put my money on Victoria - I thought it was a sure thing.

because they are the players the coach has chosen and they are all in very good form...and they have all worked hard and earned there place in the side!!!!!!!!

I reckon theres some players out there who must be fuming over not getting a game in the allies dream team. Its not what ya know its who ya know.

The only g*y i know of, played nrl, Ian Roberts. don't know of any in the afl.

ah ok, well the indigenous boys are all in good form, unlike browny who hasn't played well for weeks.  it don't really matter who or what they are, they're all Aussies and the game is better for those boys being in it, exciting players..

Most of the players today seem pretty athletic and masculine to me, not matter what race they are....unlike a few of the unfit men who used to plod around the ground in the 70's and use the game as an excuse to clock someone.
