  1. if you are using heat on it, such as a straightener it will get thinner and thinner the more you use it.

be careful and if you still do want to straighten it, use a straightener that doesnt damage hair, like the Chi. or get a product that protects your hair from the heat.

i also suggest you use Mane N' Tail. its a shampoo and conditioner for horses, but can be used by people too. it makes you hair thicker and healthier and helps heal split ends.

    good luck:]

  2. i had the same problem and still kinda do, because your hair is thick and getting longer ur scalp lets more hair fall out because its too much for your head to hold. its true ive gone to a doctor for it. you could try to use and volume adding shampoo and dont apply so much heat to your head, it will kill roots and make the hair weaker and fall out. if your really concerned go see a dermatologist, thats what i did and they will come up with ways to help. also if you cut it you will see that it will stop falling out so much.

  3. are you getting it trimmed often? having a trim will help it grow, damaged ends will make your hair appear thinner

if you have changed your diet that could be the reason..

many reasons could affect hair loss, stress, diet, change in hair colour/ use of products.

  4. as long as your following a balanced healthy diet you shouldn't need extra vitamins to supplement your diet...try eating plenty of fish and green vegetables As this will be good for you. One thing that did spring to mind is that if your growing your hair are you getting it cut regularly it could be that if you not getting it trimmed the ends are damaged and causing your hair to lack volume. also are you straightening your hair...if so try and limit it and use a good heat protection spray....think ironing without the steam...lol...not good! if you are doing all these things it could be that as your hair is thick its heavy so get some layers in it and use a really good volumising mousse onto towel dried hair and blow dry concentrating on the roots and finish with a cool blast on the hairdryer to close the cuticle and add shine.

  5. You could be lacking iron, i know many people who this happens too and usually there lacking iron.

You might want to ask a doctor about this before you go on any pills or anything like that.

  6. Same things happened to me !
