Spring Awakening is AMAZING, haters to the left. In the Heights is also an amazing show, would definitely recommend. But if you're not a regular theatregoer, I'd recommend [title of show]. As a previous commenter said, they're doing very poorly attendance-wise, which such a fabulous musical does not deserve. It's very small-scale, but the content makes up for it, as well as the fabulous cast. The show is hilarious. See it.

Wicked is the biggest right now. But In The Heights is the newest. And a Tony winner. But my preference is Wicked.

I would think that in the next 2 weeks Rent will start doing better than their 92% because of the announced closing on Sept. 7th.
