What's in a number???

The Patriots 7th round draft pick, rookie linebacker Bo Ruud, is wearing number 91. If you recall, the Patriots had a DT (Marquise Hill) that tragically died one May 27, 2007 who wore number 91. In honor of him, the Patriots wore a #91 sticker on the back of their helmets the entire 2007 season. How is it right that a rookie 7th round pick can take this number after Marquise Hill died just last off-season? Shouldn't the number be "put-away" for at least a few years or am I getting upset over nothing? Thanks.

  1. I'm not sure if the Pats will have Ruud change his number because of that or not, we'll see.

  2. In no way you are taking it too seriously, they should put away his number in honor of a wonderful person on and off the field, however it may not have crossed their minds if you understand

I am with you though, 5 years minimum the number should be kept, maybe hung up on their stadium??

Maybe a petition is in need?? hehe

    R.I.P.

    Marquise Hill
