What's in party dip?

The sour cream dip, for chips and veggies and what not. What do they put in it? (For example, AE Party Dip.) How is it made?

the best one is fat free! Use a big jug of soour cream! 2 packets or one.... according to taste..... of lipton onion  soup mix!!!!! in the package!!!!!!delicious and u can't tell that its fat free!!!!mix it all together thats all!!!

a package of dry onion soup mix ....  that's what was the original "Party Dip"... for potato chips
