  3. Going back to the roots ... Test Cricket!

  4. T20 is the only future of cricket i suppose.20/20 is like a revolution! The whole world has changed alot and has become fast paced....I really appreciate 20/20 cricket....It gives cricket a new turn....you can watch a whole match without going away or getting bored in the middle..sadly it is being ignored by great players right now but I'm sure that in the coming years it will be more popular and widely liked...

    EDIT-

well it certainly will be an eye opener for those who do not know cricket, but in the long run they will come to realize that the game has much more to it.

  5. epl

  6. Already Hongkong sixes tournament are becoming a part of cricket calendar. And another one, Singapore sixes are in the pipeline. This may be a base if cricket playing hours need any shrinking in the future.

In 20-20 format, if rain plays a spoilsport then overs are reduced. I heard, 5 overs a side is the least possible option in that case.

An interesting idea may drawn from the above said "Sixes Tournament" is that if any overs are reduced due to rain or any incidents in 20-20 format, the teams should be asked to reduce their playing 11 to 9 or 8 according to the overs reduced instead of doing the reduction in their bowling overs.

Imagine all the 11 players playing for a 5-over match.

In the IPL match. Kolkata vs Banglore, the overs were reduced to 16. But the players per side were 11 i.e only 8.72 balls per  player to face on each side.

The above said reduction in playing 11 may bring some interest.
