  1. well mic is wrong - cause I'm here and I've done it -

I worked at a $billion dollar company and became a VP

and now I am president of a smaller company -

    what's it like?

well, allot of time away from home - travel is almost non stop

long hours - your time is not your own - there is a reason we carry blackberry's - its because we are ALWAYS available -

    24/7 -

is it hard - well, if you hire "good" people its not - its fun

is it rewarding - yes it is - both emotionally and financially

would I do it any different - no - my personality and ego won't let me -

so how can I spend time doing yahoo answers - when you sit in the first class lounge of an airport allot - you end up looking for things to do

  2. It is about long hours, working on weekends, high pressure, unwanted travel, generally good pay, a few more perks than people get further down the ladder, less job security, a nicer work space in the office, less acceptance of excuses by the boss (everyone has a boss, even at the top) and it is usually a bit more creatively free.

  3. no one will answer this..

cause no one here has experienced it..

everyone who is at the top of the corporate ladder would have better things to do than go here to yahoo answers..

while us bored losers have nothing to do but surf the internet..
