What's it like being married to a drill sgt. in Ft. Knox?

My husband just got his orders for drill sgt. and we're off to Ft. Knox next year.

His other choice was recruiter, and although we had a chance to live closer to home, I think I prefer the predictability of him being a drill sgt.

I'm just wondering what it's like - will he be home often, out late, away for extended periods of time? And what the area is like? Any tips on what to expect and what I shouldn't miss out on while I'm there?

  1. p**n shops, strip clubs, cabarets, and massage parlors throughout the county operate 24 hours a day.

  2. horrible. everytime we make love she yells and commands me. it startles me and i lose my....firmness

  3. If it was true love you eventually, "slap the king & take his crown."  King him.

  4. Think of it this way, the DS are there before the recruits wake up, and there after they go to bed. So he'll  be working looooong hours. But as I remember, he would work 3 days, and get a day off. See what I'm saying? Then between classes they get about 2-3 weeks off. And remember also, he'll have to go to the field with them too. It'll suck at 1st, but like everything in the military it gets better with time. Good luck!
