What's it like in Tijuana these days?

I last went in 2006. I went with two buddies of mine, one of which is from Mexico and was (not surprisingly) fluent. So that helped. But I've red a few stories about there having been a violence problem. What's the situation now? Should I be advised to NOT go to Adalita's?

i have no idea what adalitas is, but there has been stories of wars on the streeta, whe n i go though[which is very often!] nothing happens, just a regular day in tj.

Well I have heard it is very dangerous!! But as she said as well when I go nothing happens and i come home safe!! (: Thank god!!
