What's it like living in Bristol? What area is the best part to live?

Its ok, if you have the money try harbouside or clifton area - very expensive but very pretty or westbury on trym which is next to the Downs (massive open area) Redland, Cotham, Ashton all have their pick of nice areas.  Transport is ok, with buses, train and airport 25mins away. Genereally avoid, St Pauls, Easton, Knowle West, Hartcliffe - not so special
