What's it like living in brandon florida?

Not bad, really. I live there. There is more going on over on S.R. 60, which is the older side of town. Lots of restaurants, shopping, clubs. GREAT steak place called Jessies. Other side of town near Fishawk, Bloomingdale etc is building up quite fast. Again, restaurants, clubs, new place called Stonewood is an upscale steak joint. Some good younger crowd clubs like "Mojitos."

Brandon has all the normal stuff. Churches, YMCA, Little League. The community is building, but still acceptable. Close to Tampa (about 20 miles), spring training, Tampa Bay Lightning, The Rays, The Bucks...lots of theater and museums, aquarium and Ybor City. All within a half hour or less. And Mickey the Rat is only an hour away .

We've been here two years. We kind of like it. I'd recommend it as a place to live.
