  1. It's not that different, it all depends on where you lived in Ontario and where you will be living in the Prairies. I lived in a small town in Ontario, then Waterloo, and then Winnipeg (and am now moving to Sudbury). I like Winnipeg best of the 3.

    I'd say things are a bit slower paced here. Winnipeg has better/more restaurants than Waterloo, but it would be a downgrade from Toronto.

    Living in Ontario compared to the Prairies isn't more or less of a difference than between two different places in Ontario.

    Manitoba has public car insurance, that's quite different from Ontario.

    Stores don't seem to have as good of hours here as they do in Ontario.

    The prairies are incredibly flat compared to Ontario. I miss hills.
