I'm interested, but I would never be accepted by any military as I'm deaf in both ears! ;-)

I like the answers here. Very sensible.

Cheers.

  1. Where i was based the women was treated the same as the men. They all follow the same rules and regulations and the guys treat them with respect as well.

  2. I joined the Air Force in 2003...it was the greatest decision I ever made!  After basic training and technical school I was sent to my base to perform my job.  I was always treated with respect.  I was never told I couldn't do something because I am a woman.  You can do anything you want, no one will put limitations on you except for you.

  3. if you do the job you are trained for and don't play the 'im a woman' card then you will be respected for doing your job, just like the men in the military.

try slacking and you will be told, just the same as a man would.

join the forces, join the lifestyle.

best of luck  in your choice x

  4. I'm not a woman...but while I was in they were treated as equals. Held to the same standards and treated the same..

  5. Most times it was great, other times not so great.  You still have those alpha male types who still believe the military is no place for a woman, but not so much nowadays.  I loved it when I was in, but I know how to overlook a lot of bs.

  6. Fantastic you are constantly surrounded by fit gorgeous men. Just like Heaven !!
