What's it like in Chile?

I am thinking of teaching English there. Is it a very Catcholic place? I am anglo, arian, 4th generation muslin, irish born and raised. Is it a big difference in terms of religious beliefs, customs, etc etc..

  1. Yes, most of the population is Catholic; however, there is a mixture of many ethnic groups including arabs, jews, irish, italians, germans, etc. Because of this you also have many religions which congregate in temples, ethnic clubs, etc.  The country is safe, advanced, and tolerant towards foreigners and people of different religions.
