  1. Nice. Loads of people don't speak English here, so that's a bit difficult when you want to order a pizza and the guy doesn't know what sun dried tomatoes are. But other than that it's really pretty.

  2. every one smokes bud

  3. Beautiful...i love living...most beautiful scenery.

  4. Soggy.

Not fair, but the place does get a lot of rain.

Housing prices are high and the traffic is ridiculous.

It is Not cold. Just very damp.

  5. I LOVE it! you have the mountains and the ocean! best of both worlds! and although you have lots of rain, it's very beautiful, especially in the summer! It's very expensive to live here. I actually think it's the 2nd most expensive place to live in Canada. There is much diversity in the ethnic groups! Great shopping downtown Robson, great nightlife Granville street. Stanley Park, very beautiful park, second biggest park in North America after Central Park in New York. There is alot to do and see here! Definitely not a boring place!

  6. Eight months of continuous precipitation and overcast skies.  +5C feels like -20C because of the humidity.  Outrageous housing and fuel prices.  Terrible traffic (due to poor city planning).  s****. people.

It is a pretty city with lots to do, don't get me wrong.  I just prefer to live somewhere else and visit.

  7. Vancouver is a lot like Canada.

  8. man its freaking cold

  9. If you like the outdoors  .Start packing  Mild climate great people good bus service   see     tourismvancouver and hellobc

  10. It rains most of the time. It's a good place to live for people who are into outdoor sports like sailing. It's not really the greatest place for culture compared to other large Canadian cities. I'm an artist and I left there because of the lack of opportunities. It does have very nice parks and lots of green space. Crime is getting pretty bad in some areas. It's a very divided city with all the Yuppies west of Main and all the poor people to the East which the West likes to pretend doesn't exist or they're scared to go there, which is ridiculous. The cost of housing is astronomical. It's a very liberal and accepting city as far as g*y rights and immigrants are concerned. About half the people there are immigrants. People are generally reserved towards strangers and not all that friendly, although they can be if you have an open attitude.

Whether or not you would like it there depends on what kind of person you are. If you want to live in a big city but be close to mountains and ocean, and if you have a lot of money and you're in to outdoor sports, it's a good place to live.
