What's it like working for TESCO as a company?

Got a mate thinking of applying for a job there. What the wages like?

I started on Saturday it seems ok.  It'll see me through uni or at least until something better comes along.  Checkouts is well boring though.

If its the company that supplys parts for the wireless industry I can tell you as far as a company they are great.

I use them all the time for parts and they are a great company.

To work for   IDK???

tesco supermarket? if u are reliable and hardworking u can move up quickly my friends daughter is 18 and works part time she is now supervisor and gets paid well.

The people who work for Tesco's especially the ones in suits

walking around trying to look important think they have a wonderful job , "You are shop keepers" nothing special

I imagine its alright, its one of the countries biggest company's with a lot of internal training so even if you start at the bottom you can move up quickly.
