I had an EMG and nerve conduction tests done and two different people did them. The 1st test went to a verticle spike when he got to my wrists and he told my boyfriend I have a problem at my wrists. Carple tunnel and cubital tunnel are both suspected. How can I obtain the results if my lawyer wont give them to me because he quit and the doctor who ordered the test will not call me back.

  1. You have a legal right to any and all of your own medical documents.  If the doctor's office won't return your calls, your best bet is to go into the office for them.

Just explain that you had a test done with Dr. X, and you need the results for your own personal records.  They cannot legally refuse you.  You don't owe them any explaination as to why you need them.  If they ask you lots of questions, simply remind them that you are legally entitled to your medical records.
