What's it mean when my phone have the no signal sign in a place it usaually have signal?

Does your phone have signal in open places. Sometimes tree growth, or maybe new buildings are built obstructing transmission in places where you usually have signal. So many wireless equipment nowadays that they are interrupting each other. Also in this time of crisis, companies will do everything to reduce operational expenses like reducing transmission power in cellsites. They maybe shutting down some cellsites and workers being laid off. So instead of numerous cellsites operating in your area to broadcast strong signal, now they closed some of them... or maybe your cellphone thats malfunctioning, Borrow other unit and observe if it also has no signal in those places.
