What's kind of reading materials and listening materials you think are most difficult for translator ?

May i invite you to share your opinion concerning the difficulties in the course of translation which i stressed English language as original language when doing translation! Have you had any tips or skills deal with obstacles when that confront with you and your feelings through the translation experiences?

Anything that is centered around humor, especially jokes centered on miscommunication in the native language (homonyms, words spelled incorrectly, etc).  These are almost impossible to translate and keep the spirit of the message intact.

All you can do when translating this type of material is first, translate it.  And then, follow up with an explanation of why this is funny in the native language.  Your audience might politely chuckle, but likely won't fully appreciate the story.
