I've lived on the east coast all my life and since like 12 I have wanted to move there when I got older.

What I plan to do is go to college here in Rhode Island, then hopefully go to grad school in California and get my PHD. But im curious on how expensive it will be. My dad said a friend of his moved back home after a year and he was only living in an apartment.

So how costly is it?

  1. Hii!

    I know this is NOT related but I wanted to answer your question about you wanting to increase your height, so here's the thing:

    * Drink 500ml of skim milk fortified with protein/Vitamin D/ Calcium/ iron

    * Eat 2 eggs a day

    * drink 2.2 liters of water a day

    * Hang on a monkey bar 3 minutes a day

    * Do yoga DAILY on wake up (buy a DVD)

    * Do pilates(DVD) and kickboxing 4 x a week

    * Don't eat sugar! it prevents Growth hormone from releasing effectively

    * Sleep 9hrs a night continuously

    * when exercising give it ALL yo got for 30 minutes

    * its best you exercise on an empty stomach (3-4hr after a big meal and 2hrs after a small meal and 30-60min after a snack. Or you can do it as soon as you wake up!)

    * try to eat more healthy protein from chicken, fish, beans

    Please note: these are really valuable tips after I searched about 3 month to get the best solution to getting taller!

    Good luck;)

      OH! I almost forgot to tell you that you should take a multivitamin and a Zinc supplement because it crutial for height

  2. depends on where you want to live in California.  I live in Northern California and yes its costly, but I wouldn't say its that costly that you couldn't afford it if you had a job.  I love it in Northern California and have lived it most of my life.....its close to everything and the weather is pretty good all year (no snow).  Email me if you are looking at No. California.

  3. Yeah, it depends where. If you're moving to Cal. for your PHD then you should probably move to either San Francisco (Stanford and UC Berkely) or Los Angeles (UCLA) where they have the best universities in California. San Fran and LA also have the highest cost of living in Ca. Check out sites like http://www.apartments.com to see how much it is around the schools you're thinking about attending.

    What's it like: Coastal, temperate weather, densely populated, great ethnic food and diverse

  4. Dude I have the same story as you except I'm from Texas, but I heard it's as expensive than a ***** out there.
