  2. The microwaves kill the energetic value of your food stone dead. I would recommend that anyone with a microwave abandon it's use forthwith!

  3. Everyone who said microwave is correct.  I just want to add that the micro also consumes less time.  Moreover, the micro is less likely to create incomplete combustion products like aldehydes that are known to cause cancer.

There is another way and that is the "Nu-wave" a counter top oven.  It can cook from fozen and uses Conduction, Convection, and Infrared Heat.  It's rated at 1500Watts compared to conventional ovens at 3400Watts and saves up to 85% of the energy.  The moisture is not lost, unlike a microwave.  Still need to buy one myself!
