  1. If you accomplish world peace and clear all debts, then our government would be able to spend more time and money on poverty, and probably eliminating it. So I say world peace. (which cant happen, because everyone wants to be the top dog)

  2. I don't think you can eliminate poverty without having world peace.

  3. Neither are important.  They would both be the natural outcome following an eventual coming under the influence of philosophy for all of mankind.

  4. This is hard to answer because they go hand in hand, but I suppose if I had to choose one it would be peace assuming that, with peace comes no more poverty.

  5. World peace.. if u watch or read The Secret u'll know the answer! =D

  6. peace

  7. I believe that if we can learn to stop dividing the world into sections with boundaries and ownership and realise that the world belongs to no-one, that it is ours to share on an equal basis for the time that we are here then maybe some kind of peace will ensue.

There is no earthly reason why there should be such dramatic poverty and great richness unequally spread around the world it is caused by the greed and fear in some men's minds. Logistics are no longer an issue.

When we can all agree that one man's life is just as important as the next, that we all have a right to be here and enjoy the life we have been given equally maybe then we can do something as a whole to share the natural resources earth has given us in a fairer way and irradicate the need for war.

  8. Both are important, since neither can be sustained without the other....... however, both are impossible to achieve so long as there is greed and I really can not imagine complete eradication of greed.

  9. Peace than there wouldn't be any poverty.

  10. Well, you work with what ou've got:  working on them at the same time would be the best bet, but if you use up people in unnecessary wars, they aren't even going to be around to get out of poverty....There's a certain immediacy about continuing to breathe ... as in being able to do anything, but anything, else.

  11. On a holistic scale I think both are impossible any time soon. So, I would reason that what we are able effect on a local level would be more important. I think that poverty is an incredible burden to deal with, and many times it leads to conflict. The way out of poverty really is education, and the more people that are educated, the more people you have who see the benefit of community and harmony. Thus, the elimination of poverty through education will lead to peace.

  12. elimination of poverty

we can't live in peace when we're poor, just as simple as that

  13. i dont really think this question can be answered.

i truely think there will never be world peace.  we go to war to supposivly make peace but were just causing more disasters.  and the more disasters we cause the more we as people think we can fix it with war.  how can we have world peace when all of our countries arent even at peace with each other.  i just dont think it will ever happen there will always be some kind of terrorist or dictator or something thats stopping us from world peace.  actually just people in general are stopping us from having peace.  there will always be the **** ups who are raping people or robbing or killing or just ******* up.  people like that are messed up in the head and they just cant help what they do.  and not to be offensive but with all the racial crimes and racism and gangs and etc. its just not plausable for there to be world peace.  if we the people seriously wanted world peace half of us wouldnt be sitting on our asses right now answering all these questions.  wed be out there fixing something doing something to fix the world.

    and poverty.

    well not to be offensive

but there will always be that seperation from the rich and the poor.  the people who are rich work for it, most work there asses off others just are kind of lucky.  the intermediate people (people who arent poor but arent rich) still work there butts off to make some money to live off of. they could always use more but they dont entirely need it.  and the poor people are ether just to lazy to work, are homeless, sick, etc. theyre just very very unfortunate people. but theres nothing we can do about it.

i think that the worlds just extremely ignorant.  people now a days are just extremely self centered and selfish

i just dont think its plausible to have ether world peace or to eliminate poverty.

  14. World peace, of course... With that, we would eliminate poverty completely.. If we were to eliminate poverty, we'd just have that many more a******s running around in this world, caring only for themselves like so many of us do.. Thus destroying what little peace we have left.
