  1. I'd say going to the dentist is more stressful than either one.

  2. I picked dentist. Why? As an engineer you need to deal with all sorts of problems, such as design, maintenance, cost, safety, etc. But that's all, after work is all pleasure.

But if you were a dentist, you need to deal with all sorts of patients with all sorts of teeth problems. There are people who brush before the apointment, and there are who don't. Not to mention bad breath. All these things will be in your memory and might affect your appetite.

  3. Childish question both dental and engineering can be fun if you love the job and are a master at work. Both will prove to be strain if you don't have flair for the job, and just dragging yourself for a living...........

  4. Dentists have a much higher suicide rate

  5. A dentist,if one is used to grind his teeth when under tension.

  6. it is stressful being a dentist..

simply because i am taking up an engineering course..

unless you love the profession., there is no way it would be stressful to you..

  7. well I think being an engineer is more stressful. an engineer alway looks forward to innovation. Even in the dentist field, it is the engineer or scientist  who look for way to improve the quality of the dentist.
