  1. the answer does depend on your definition of value. if you're speaking in monetary terms then gas is obviously more valuable than water. but if you're referring to REAL value, then water is by far more valuable to gas, you can live without gas...

  4. WATER-and nobody is listening nor paying attention.  Fresh water.  Its an endangered specie and will bring the whole of mankind to the brink of extinction, quicker that the absence of oil, a muliti-nuclear war, and all the ugliest things man can do to man.  FRESH WATER

  7. depends on what you mean by valuable.  We've lived without gasoline before, if forced to we could do it again.  You have to have water to live.
