A time machine would definitely help.  Go back in time at least 21 days, then buy your ticket and finally go forward in time to the present.   Otherwise try www.kayak.com  to search multiple on-line travel sites and compare fares.

Try last minute deals on travelocity, check airline websites for fare sales; cheaptickets.com or hotwire are also good but you have to be flexible as to time and days to get the best price.

PS If you take a hotel and airfare together, you often geta  real break on the airfare even if you skip the hotel!
