  1. Oh wow, that took me like ten times repeating it and like mentally drawing out the family tree line to understand. You guys are like WAY extended family if you can even call it that. i think at the "husband's brother's" part is where you lose relationship though

  2. I would say extended family. and if this question has anything to do with dating someone, I'd say your pretty much in the clear for the most part.. considering no blood lines meet.

  3. Your dad's sister is your aunt, her husband is your uncle(in-law), his brother is also your uncle, (since there is no such thing as uncle-in-law, or cousin-in-law), but as next of kin goes, you aren't related. Blood relations share gene markers. You are not blood related.

  4. You are not really related at all.

  5. you are not blood-related

  6. An easier way to think of it is your cousin's cousin. (if such people exist in your family). Imagine a first cousin on your moms side (child of your mother's sibling), and a first cousin on your dads side (child of your father's sibling). it would be the relation between these two people. really, no relation. If you're worried about dating this person, i'd say its safe- as long as you're willing to explain to people who look at you funny. It's really how you look at it. I have a close family and I know the people whom I share this relationship with- they're not my "relative" but I still consider them family.

  7. Kissing cousins mean related through marriage.

  8. He is no relation to you, except your dad's sister's husband's brohter' son.
