To get you up to date on what's happening

As you know Ronny Signed a 4 year deal for 17 mil with the golden state warriors(sad... but on the upside the cuntecs lost james posey lol =^p).

As for the Ron artest rumors at the moment they've gone cold because of a few reason, the Lakers relunctance to give up odom, taking on kenny thomas's contract, and the fact that several other teams have inquired about artest. As recently the Mavs, Heat, Knicks, and Spurs.

Finally Shawn Marion despite what many have said THERE ARE NO SERIOUS RUMORS!. the Lakers have simply been linked as suitors, but like ron artest so have 8 other teams. As far i know the only teams to have been in serious talks are the Mavericks and Kings.

I wouldn't be too concerned on any new news at the start of the free agent market i was hoping the lakers would pursue a top free agent. After that didn't happen i hoped for a major trade that would help the lakers defensively. But i've come to realize that the lakers don't need to change, bynum is coming back and that's all that matters. Come next year the lakers will be amazing and will prove to all that they're the team to beat.
