  1. German is easier

  2. I see German is much easier

  3. German is easier because English is a Germanic language.

Japanese is really, really hard and would involve you learning a new writing system (I've been learning for 3 years and I only have hiragana, katakana, and about 200-400 kanji memorized) and a totally different sentence structure.

As for sites... http://www.mangolanguages.com/ Haven't tried the German lessons, but the Japanese ones are good. Almost like using flash cards or something.

  4. German would be easier, because it uses the same alphabet and the grammar is close to English. English evolved from German and has many similar words.

Japanese was from a different root and has a different alphabet and grammar system

  5. German is easyer!

  6. YES to GERMAN. Japanese is hard and not alot of people can learn it as a second or third language without tring. Are you going to work to learn it or do you just think it's a walk in the park; easy N' simple.

Really it depends on the person N' the person's known languages(native langauge)

  7. German, because if you took Japanese, then you'd have to learn a whole new alphabet and writing, but German is pretty similar and they only have a few other letters

  8. german is easier, but i would definitely prefer japanese

  9. The German vowels (a,e,i,o,u) sounds exactly as the Spanish vowels, and the alphabet has many letters in English pronounciation. You'll learn faster since you already know both languages.
