I hated the fact that most of the people were like" labels are for soup cans," yet perpetuate said label to the extreme, especially these people:

  1. Oh my god!!! Scene kids are sooo immature! Who are they trying to impress?!!?

I hated: Drama and labels. Stupidest things ever.

  2. The teachers, assistant principals and the principal ugh I felt like a leashed dog!

  3. Nothing. I loved every minute of high school. Now if it was junior high the list was way too long. Right from the snotty s****. self righteous teachers and the !@# hole who was the principal down to the snotty

s****. pushy rude cruel fellow students. I left it 45 years ago and when I drive by it I would still like to bomb it. The other day I saw the obituary for my old math teacher and smiled. Good riddance to the miserable old cow.

  4. i hated all the stereotypes and stupid girls.  i just hate immature people and high school is 90% immature idiots.  thank god i'm done with that ****.  now i get to choose the people i spend all day with.

  5. Girls that thought they were too good for me and turned me down.

They don't even know me....judging me before knowing me

  6. Getting up at 6:00 every morning.

  7. that avid didnt go on as many field trips as education academy

  8. drama .

  9. Couldn't agree more.

I was forever perplexed to exactly how people could claim to LOVE being themselves, etc, etc, then all they would simply do is, as you so well put it, become "labels" and then perpetuate said label...(on a side note, I'll remember that description, I like it!)

The other aspects I couldn't stand were what I viewed as intellectual or physical snobbery - that is, those who led, particularly in either sport or academia, looking down their nose at those who were quite content with their own achievement...or even worse, those who were doing well and working and had to make sure everyone knew.

I surprised a lot of people at the end of final year! I kept quiet all year and did my work without making a fuss...a lot of people assumed I didn't do a thing because I wasn't forever whinging about how hard it was - and at the end, I ended up with one of the top marks...ha.

The other major irritant I had was the extreme lack of loyalty. I tired so fast of hearing people complaining about each other literally all day, the two faced attitudes and backstabbing...while the way I operated was, I was friendly to everyone, had my circle of dead loyal friends and kept it at that. I didn't back stab and I (trusted) that no one back stabbed me...and I think that's a golden rule for life in general that needs to be nutured in high school - because now in the working world, there are too many people who still live in this high school world of cattiness.

    Great question! :-)

  10. Yes, the labels are terrible... But, the clique-iness seemed just as bad.

  11. i hated it when i was doing some girl and she said harder, harder but i just llitterly couldent go any harder , i am soory but i just could not go hardeR!

  12. use uniform

  13. I hated everything about high school. I'm really glad I'm done with it.

  14. High school was/is so badass. I'm going into grade 12 in September, and I can honestly say they've been the best years of my life. No drama, no stress, all awesomeness. I wrestle, have a girlfriend, and am on the school band. It's just so freaking awesome.

    i guess some of you werent very;

    -pretty

    -social

    -and didnt have many friends.

well, it suck to be you freaks.

  17. I hated having to deal with the stupidity of 90% of the student body.

  18. i hated the learning part.. and senior year and college stuff..

  19. Drama. Especially the people that keep getting into it and the people you hear about over and over and over and over again.

  20. I hated taking showers in public. I hated that the toilets in the boys' room had no walls or doors. Everyone could see you doing what one only wants to do when they are alone.

The halls were extremely overcrowded, like sardines, between classes. We're talking baby boomer times, here. The early 1970s.

I hated it that they had a smoking section for kids.

I hated it that there were some teachers who seemed not to care about the kids.

I hated it that smart kids were made fun of, instead of being esteemed, as they are in Europe.

I hated seeing what I realise now were self-hating kids ruining their health with illegal stuff and doing self-defeating behaviour, and me not being able to help them.

I hated seeing or hearing mean stuff.

When I left high school, it was like being paroled!

I loved my freedom so much that I only lasted one year at college, although my grades were good.

  21. I don't know about the soup can thing but I definitely didn't like the clicques if thats what you mean. I think what I hated the most was the fact that I felt older than everyone else there due to situations in my life that forced me to grow up fast. I just wasn't a high school person.

  22. There was a lot of racial tensions between Blacks and Whites when I went to high school in the early 70's that, because of my sensitivity and emotional insecurity, made me very fearful, anxious, and angry.  Because of my ineffective ways of coping with all of this and general ineptness on the social scene, I found it very difficult to concentrate in the classroom.  It was truly a living h**l.

  23. lables are annoying but i think going is the part i hate the most

  24. Actually having to go!

  25. acting serious...

  26. lol i guess there isn't anything i "Hated" because i can still only "hate".  im only in my sophomore year.  But the thing i hate the most is waking up so early.  and yea i see what you mean i never knew it was really that bad.  i don't really like labels much, i mean people are who they are deal with it or don't.

  27. waking up early every day, learning useless things and socializing too much pressure

  28. When I was in high school it was not labels but cliques...dopers...jocks...eggheads...an... so on...I fit into several of them but back then you had to chose one and could not be seen with those of another...so I chose none of the above...it all seemed so senseless.

  29. Because most kids in high school are imature. Even though I do think scene kids are silly looking I'm not mean to them.

  30. most things

  31. I hated having to get up at the crack of dawn freshman, sophomore, and half of junior year in order to catch the bus. I am not a morning person at all.
