  1. Lol, I don't like Jared Weaver or Gary Mathhews either lol. Funny thing is Weaver would be a no. 2 or 3 pitcher anywhere else


  2. One thing????

    Dusty Baker is a terrible manager.  He is responsible for the human roster hole that is Corey Patterson.  He insists on bunting and playing small ball, giving away outs, when there's a chance for a big inning.  He pinch-hits Javier Valentin for Jerry Hairston Jr. and Jay Bruce.  He blames the fact that "this is Krivsky's team," and refuses to take the blame for his c**p.

    Barry Zito. i don't need to elaborate.

    the fact that they're claiming to be in the middle of a youth movement, ignoring that a youth movement is only beneficial and exciting if your young guys are GOOD. Bowker, Burriss, Ochoa, and Holm are not big leaguers.

    the 5th outfielder on the hated Dodgers might be the best player on our roster.

    middle relief. if we can get a decent outing out of a starter, it's a looooong 2 innings or so before Wilson gets the ball.

    the fact that Bonds handcuffed this team for so many years, and management really didn't have a choice as to what to do with him until this year.

    the fact that as long as Bonds was a Giant, they were committed to other past-their-prime vets who gave Bonds/the team "the best chance of winning right now."

    and they did nothing during those years to prepare for the future.

    that Matt Cain's starts are wasted despite the fact that he is posting another sub-4.00 ERA and is among league leaders in Ks again. and it will take until he is playing for another team before he gets the run support and record that he deserves.

    i wish my only gripe were an excessively long and lame team name.

    Wasted millions of dollars of team money and city money in lawsuits just to fool people into thinking they're tapping into the LA media market. (they already have...) Yet the Stanley Cup winning hockey team across the street proudly calls itself the Anaheim Ducks!

    I love how some news broadcasts and websites still show our team as ANA

    But really, that's all I don't like...keep steamrolling over the AL!

  8. d**n injuries and the bullpen.  Pitching isn't good either with Carpenter and Mulder constantly getting injured.  (STL Cardinals)

  9. i agree with the name. we shouldve stayed the anaheim angels. an also, when they score lots of runs one day, and then get totally shut down the next.

The Dbacks strike out so much.  It is ridiculous.  It would be understandable if they had power to go along with it but they don't even have that.  Its frustrating to have Chris Young strike out one to two times a game guaranteed.  It is rare to see Mark Reynolds go a game without a K too, but he actually puts up some homers and rbis.  I just wish their offense was better as a whole.

  17. God the A's can't score to save their lives. They always get a runner on second with nobody out or a runner on third with one out and he never scores they dont manufacture runs they wait for the 3run homer

  19. Ownership.  They never let the baseball people they hire, do their job.  They are always sticking their uneducated faces in the thick of things.  As a Yankee fan, it drives me crazy.

  21. they cant score any runs...that's it, we have a Ok pitching staff that could have many more wins if they got more run support, and not a lot more just 1 or 2 more runs a game.....

    The only thing I'm disappointed with them now is that they just got swept by the Angels.

  24. The bullpen pitching on the road...everything else is almost perfect...Except for Justin Morneau..I think in time the HR Derby did mess up his swing...he's hitting something like .150 at his last 30 something at bats

  29. I'm not a big fan of Ted Lilly or Jason Marquis. You never know what type of game they're going to have, and heading down the stretch, that creates some room to worry.

  31. I'd say Jared Weaver or Gary Matthews Jr.  Only thing I can really complain about and that's not much lol.  Also I don't like that the games when they are locally broadcasted are on ch 13(my 13).

    Good to be an Angels fan.
