I work in product development for a small office products company. We're developing a a new environmentally friendly line of products that can either be made from:

wood

or from

recycled plastics.

What is generally thought of as more "green"?

Thanks in advance

  1. It depends. Here are some considerations:

    1. Recycled plastics are already in the life cycle process. If you don't use recycled products, what's the use of recycling?

    2. Is the recycled plastic recyclable itself? If not, the longer its useful life, the greener you are.

    3. Is the wood product produced by sustainable means? Some wood products are, some aren't.

    4. Most wood products used for office supplies end up in the trash after their useful life. Not even used for firewood. Where is your product going?

  2. Hello

WOOD is best for making Pen Stand, Calender Stand, Office Furniture etc.

DO NOT ALLOW ANY PLASTIC ITEMS IN OFFICE OR HOUSE OR ANY WHERE.

  3. i would say recycled plastics as well...

  4. I would say wood because the government are going to pass a law that plastic bags won't be free in supermarkets anymore. This proves that wood is much greener.

  5. I think recycled plastic would be more enviromentally friendly, cause no trees have to be chopped down for the product.  Just a guess...
