What's real - Creationism or Evolution?

Question

I always get in trouble with hubby who thinks evolution is c**p lol.

This makes me so mad. I'm an atheist and believe in evolution most of the time.

What can I do?

This debate has nothing to do with religion.  You can be both religious and scientifically literate.

There are Christians who believe in evolution, but there are also those that don't.

Your husband is not a moron, he's just ignorant.  

Evolutionary science is the basis for all disease research, vaccine development, and other types of bio-medicine.  Creationism on the other hand is not the basis for anything that is actually real.  There is no such thing as creation-science......it's a dead end that produces nothing.  No drugs, no cures, no breakthroughs.

Did you know that camels can crossbreed with llamas? Tigers, leopards, jaguars, lions can all interbreed? What is a species? How come we have chihuahas and St. Bernards...but they're all one species? And they too can interbreed with wolves and coyotes? Maybe because each "species" has the marvelous ability to adapt to an incredible variety physical requirements? But why....after several thousand years of accelerated, controlled "selection" has nobody ever evolved a dog into anything else but a dog?

Could someone who believes evolution is fact, please explain the mechanics of how it works, to me? Could someone explain how there was once nothing and then a spontaneous 'big bang' suddenly generated googles of megatons of matter and incredibly vast amounts of energy? How far does empty space extend? Infinity? I would say THAT in itself would have to be considered a miracle, even if there was no God.

Reality?
Well, I know what it's like to hate, to envy, to be selfish, and be unhappy all the time. That's a reality. But my heart is beating, I'm breathing,  I can see, hear, smell, taste and touch. It all works and I didn't do anything to make any of it happen. I have a wonderful wife and family who love me. That's certainly a reality...and the very existence of matter, energy, and life....really is a miracle. I found Jesus, or really, He found me.
He says that He created it all, He created the Universe, and He says that we are all hateful, selfish, sinners. He came into this world and lived a perfect life for an example... He was so UN greedy, unselfish, and loving that He gave himself to die in your place. All we have to do is believe and trust in Him. So what is truth?
Jesus is Truth. What is life? Jesus is life.

Only believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
