What's required to get into a Baking & Pastry Institute

All I know by basic research off the internet is that a high school diploma is needed.

  2. Basically, a high school diploma or GED. Some schools require SATs, but most will just have you take a placement test if you haven't taken your SATs. I think the most important thing you need to get into one is passion and personality. If they have you write an essay with the application, make sure you late them know why and how you are so interested in baking and pastry. Also, the interview is probably THE most important thing when it comes to being accepted. Just be yourself, and let them know what drives you to want to go there (just like in the essay), and any experience you may have had with baking or pastry arts.
