  1. McCain much scarier

    and you meant

    .... experienced (close to death)....inexperienced

let's have Mrs. PTA run the place...i'm sure that would work out

  2. panthrchic says " Palin has plenty of public service and government training that puts Obama to shame."

Let's see now.  Palin has 21 months in office as the governor of a state of less than 700000 people.  Before being governor she was mayor of Wasilla, population 6500.  Before that she was a TV journalist.  Obama has four years in the U.S. Senate and eight years in the Illinois Statehouse. Also he was a professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Chicago.  He earned a Bachelor's at Columbia and a law degree from Harvard Law.  I think that's more training than Palin.  I don't think Palin's degree or mayorship puts Obama to shame; quite the contrary.  Be honest and ask yourself: is Sarah Palin the person most qualified to be a heartbeat away from the Oval Office?  Or was she selected for considerations other than competence.  If she were male instead of female, would she have been selected?

Palin also admitted that that she didn't know "what exactly that the VP does every day." http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washingt...

Palin imposed a windfall profits tax on oil companies operating in Alaska and used that tax to give $1200 to every resident of Alaska.  Not exactly a tax cutter, is she?

  3. The Vice-President only has two jobs.

    1.  Take over if the President is incapacitated (e.g., killed, hospitalized, removed from office).

    2.  President of the Senate (and only gets to vote if there is a tie vote in the Senate).

Therefore, "[a]n inexperienced president" is MUCH scarier.

  4. Obama and his campaign are sexists. They showed that to Hillary. McCain and Palin will show them

  5. It exposes the truth that presidents are really nothing but talking heads and it's the power brokers  behind the scenes that make the decisions.

  6. A president with bad decision making skills, which is what I think McCain showed himself to be by his vp pick.

  7. warmonger president

  8. Obama is not qualifed and that is of concern,

  9. From what pool do you pull experienced presidents from?

  10. At least an inexperienced VP can be "trained". Nevertheless, Palin has plenty of public service and government training that puts Obama to shame.
