  1. Next time don't say anything, wait till they leave or go in the next room and call the police.

  2. tresspassing, u should have called the cops... thats forcing an entry, also batterry because u were pushed, file a police report if u feel in danger

  3. Call the cops, If you feel you life is in danger shoot them.

  4. Yell for help if you can't get to a phone. Better yet yell 'FIRE" b/c people will more likely call 9-1-1 if you yell fire, instead of help.

    Once police arrive you will want them to file a report agaisnt the person for trespassing. If they did any physical harm to you (which they did when they touched you!) or your property criminal action NEEDS to be taken.

    Good luck!

  5. Call 911

  6. Most states in the US have what are called Castle Doctrine (laws) regarding intruders. These are also known as Defense of Habitation laws. These laws designate one's place of residence as a place in which one enjoys protection from illegal trespassing and violent attack. These laws then go on to give a person the legal right to use deadly force to defend that place (his/her "castle"), and/or any other innocent persons legally inside it, from violent attack or an intrusion which may lead to violent attack.

    This means if someone enters your home you can legally use any amount of force not exceeding that which is used against you. You can't just shoot a person that enters your home without your permission unless you reasonably fear for your own life.

    If the person entering your apartment is the police, emergency services, or the landlord you do not have the right to use deadly force on them.

    If the person entering your apartment is just being rude, I'd suggest getting a door chain and installing it on your door. Alternatively you could just open the door 3-4 inches and put your foot behind it at the bottom of the door out by the edge. Both of these things will make it much harder to get past the door without permission. If your REALLY serious you can even install a pager system so that you can use a speaker to talk to whoever is on the other side of the door without actually opening it.

  7. if you can prove it is your apt; call the police and inform them that

    someone has taken your name or worse.  CALL the

    apartment landlord too.

    YOU have an intruder.........but since i have never ever heard of this;

    have you been out of the area for a while?  DO you have

    a roommate?
