What's so great about Obama, what do people like him so much???

What do people see in obama that makes them think he can change the nation. He will CHANGE your HOPE into despair.

I always hear people say he looks good on tv and he has a good speaking voice, but I can't STAND to hear that overly deep obnoxious sound.

Sure you asked the question to the Americans, right? Being not an American, I dare to say that, Obama is not the factor-----he is from Democrats, that's important. We, the non-Americans like the Democrats---whoever he is. From our previous experiences, we use to say so.

What do I like? Hope, my good man. The hope that we can reclaim our country from the conservative minority that has brought us record unemployment, record deficits, record mortgage foreclosure, declining wages, disappearing benefits and growing poverty by waging campaigns based on fear  (vote for me or you will die) lies (Obama is Arabic) neo-McCarthyism (Everyone who disagrees with us is an Anti-American socialist) etc. We still have gross injustices and a widening gap in opportunities and wealth in this country. As Obama says, I think we can do better! Thanks for asking!

I am not sure, that is what I am trying to find out. I am a undecided voter. I am really trying to understand what he is going to change.  I feel like he is preaching.    The other thing I am trying to understand is  why he chose Biden over Clinton.

The perpective upon Obama outside the US is that he is the least likely candidate to invade us or our neighbours on trumped up claims about non-existent weapons of mass destruction.

Oh. And we like the fact that he can effortlessly locate most of our countries on a map.That will be a novelty in a US President. It is actually quite galling to be invaded by a people who are not sure what continent they are on.

He hypnotizes them with his suave speech making ability. I admit that even I was beginning to be captivated by Obama a few months ago, but after I looked into what he stood for on the issues, I came to my senses. I'm sure the far lefters actually like where he stands, but I think everyone else has just been caught up in the herd mentality without hardly any research.
