  1. Sapa is very nice, have alot of private village over there, their market meet every weekend and they trade whatever they made (hand made) like hand bag, furniture,... very fine art. The temp at this month is just perfect because it is in the top of mountain. Good place to go, very recommended.

  2. love market...people find their own love there...&o&

  3. I'm surprised when heard a Vmese doesn't know about Sapa. It's such a great place that I highly recommend all of you to visit. The attractions of Sapa is the scenery, food and hospitality of ethnic people. The weather is wonderful. If you don't know Vietnamese as people there, even some children can speak English fluently. I was amazed when listening to their English. I aksed them where they studied. They said they didn't study English at any school. They studied English through the foreign visitors. How talented they are!!!

  4. where is sapa?

i'm vietnamese and i dont know such a place exists?

  5. It was OK, the SAPA scenery was beautiful...  IF you have seen Misty mountains before that don't bother...  And, also BLACK HMONG people will trailer you trying to sell stuff..

  6. sapa ,from ha noi an overnight train north to lau cai near the china borded.. then an uphill bus ride [ take your Dramamine] its a small town in the clouds , in the fog most of the time , but you can walk or get a motorbike ride to 3-4 montangard villagesin the clear valleys below, [ red dao, "dao do" or black hmong "hmong den"] the hmong villages are less of a tourist trap than the dao do.. but that said they are both very nice people .. the dao woman and the hmong young girls are just relentless/tenacious "salesmen" inside the town... in the villages you can be left alone .. a bit.... its ok for 2-3 days , take your camera...scenery is nice , there are a few hotels but bar / restaurants are at a minimum, not much night life.  if you dont have much time try an over night at mai chau valley 4hrs out of ha noi any tourist agency or hotel desk in ha noi can set you up ... all the montagard villages you will be permitted to go to are "touristy" and the ones you can go to ... you wouldn't want to go...
