What's so wrong with

Question

How come when I tell people I plan on getting married or having children, plenty of people give this look like "why"? I've been always asked why wouldn't anyone not want to get married? Am i obligated to have children and get married because I'm a woman? I don't think ending single for the rest of your life is the worst thing that could happen. I will have relative and friends.

tell them to back off and deal with their own life next time tell them "i saw yours and it made me change my mind" that will shut them up for a while

This is becoming more and more common.  Women are wanting to stay single as are men.  I feel it is a personal choice.  I am 25, married and want kids in a few years.  My sister is 22 and has no plans of ever getting married or ever having kids....she actually looked into sterilization at the age of 20, but found out you have to wait until you are older.

So I see both sides, it is simply a personal choice.  However many still have a problem with this and are unable to see another's point of view.  As many choose to be unmarried and childless, the reverse is also becoming more common.  I have been questioned for my choices as well.  I think in the end, there are simply some immature people who just can't believe someone has different wants and needs than themselves.
