I have a dog so it has to be safe, but we have (recluse) spiders, I believe in our yard, and not only do they get into the house I have a great fear of spiders and I was wondering if there was anything I could put in the grass that wouldn't hurt my dog but would really keep away the spiders?

Thanks so much

  1. Wasps, are natural predators to spiders. And are you sure it's recluse does it have a fiddle on it's back? Common brown spiders are often mistaken for recluse.

  2. you come up with a working spider repellent and you will be the next billionaire.   There are countless products that will kill spiders and will not be an issue to your pets, they just won't be a good repellent

  3. try a mixture of vinegar and water equal amounts into a sprayer  works well for me

  4. There's nothing that will kill spiders that is safe around humans or pets.

Recluse spiders have VERY specific habitats ... usually located underneath rocks or within hollow wood, inside boxes, piles of wood, pots, etc.

Get rid of these habitats and you get rid of most of the spiders and a lot of yard trash.
