Grilled cheese sandwich Or salad on the side, maybe add some pasta or rice to the soup to make it more filling.

I think vegetable beef soup would go perfectly with some Saltine Crackers. If you're looking for something more "fulfilling" then I would suggest having a starter salad.

Fried hush puppies!! The jalapeno kind is the best. Each bite is crunchy. Big skillet of cornbread is popular in the south too!
