  1. I think it's 'coaxial'.

  2. It is coaxial cable, but there is varying degrees of strengths and conductivity. I used to work for a satellite T.V. company, and we could not install with certain kinds of coaxial, for the simple fact that if you use the coaxial that used to be wired in for basic cable, the signal could be interrupted or lost. If you are planning on wiring something, I would suggest RG-6. That's the type of coaxial that we used.

  3. Coaxial

  4. Coax cable

  5. Coaxial Cable

There are different colors for coaxial cables such as black and white.

  6. There are many different types of cable.

Coaxial is the older version (normally a copper wire inside a rubber or plastic tube, with a grounding shield/web around that, then another plastic or rubber coat around that.)

RCA is another version, similar to coaxial but for a slightly improved signal.  The end is also round, with 2 contacts (a middle and outer component)

S-Video is also round, but has multiple pins/holes on the end - and can only be inserted at one angle.

VGA is mostly for computers, but some TV's have a connection for it. Multiple pins. Rectangle with angled left/right ends.

There is also the digital HDMI connections. This is for newer digital signals, and mostly connects to Hi-Def TV's or newer systems. It's also rectangle but thinner - and rounded in the lower corners.
