In Les Miserables, there is a line that says, "to love another person is to see the face of god". I know I have heard this somewhere else, like in a musical or song, but I cannot for the life of me remember where....help!

  1. You mean besides in the musical? It is in both the book and the musical.

    VALJEAN, FANTINE, EPONINE

    Take my hand

    And lead me to salvation

    Take my love

    For love is everlasting

    And remember

The truth that once was spoken

    To love another person

Is to see the face of God.

  2. In the finale, Jean Valjean and Fantine and Eponine say, "And remember the truth that once was spoken - to love another person is to see the face of God."
