What's that paper called that when you press down on the top sheet, the writing transfers onto attached sheets

Also, does anyone know how it works? I've been trying to figure it out for a long time.

I'd Google it, but it's hard to figure out how it works when you don't even know what it's called in the first place.

  4. Carbon Paper and you put a sheet inbetween 2 sheets of paper and write and it will transfer to the other papre so you get 2 copies

    Carbon paper

    and Carbonless copy paper

    It works because it consists of sheets of paper that are coated on the bottom and/or the top with micro-encapsulated dye or ink and/or a reactive clay. These ink or clay is pressed down against and sticks to the paper underneath it, leaving the same impressions as the pen above.
