What's the 411 on the battle between Blu-Ray and HD. Are the major DVD makers going with one type of format?

I noticed that the HD players are really inexpensive versus the Blu-Ray players

  1. Blue Ray is the winner. I learned this shortly after Toshiba HD DVD players were being sold for $99 or less.


  2. HD already announced they are stopping production... Its all about Blu-ray now...

  4. Blu Ray won that "battle" because all of the major movie studioes have decided to go with Blu Ray and not HD.

    HD is dead just like Betamax.
