Hands down Chicago. You can get thin, deep dish, or stuffed, and there is a ton of great places to get any style. I prefer Lou Malnatis for deep dish.

even small towns have off the wall little shops that have some of the best pizzas around!

I'd say New York. You can get the big, floppy pizza "Brooklyn style pizza" at Ray's, or more traditional pizza at the pizzerias. There are even a couple pizzerias that feature pretty good "Chicago-style" deep dish pies. So, in New York you can get a good version of a lot of different varieties.

It depends... If you are like me then you would like the thick bread of Chicago.  But if you like thin pizza, then you will like New York's pizza.  That's a choice that I will leave to you.

I think that New York is the best city to buy pizza; but also, all of Italy is known for great tasting pizza.

Not Tampa! It is really hard to find good pizza down here. Pizza in Cincinnati is great, though. Check out LaRosa's or Dewey's. Lots of people like Pomodori's and Adriatico's. There are so many great local places in Cincinnati, there is no need to eat the crappy chain pizza.

The two most infamous places to get a good slice are Chicago (for the deep dish) and New York (for the thinner crust.) I'm a Long Islander, so obviously I'd choose a thin slice any day. Its what a pizza should be.
